Corporate Social Responsibility with Ordina
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) forms an important focus area in Ordina’s strategic policy. One of the rules of thumb in our CSR programme is that we donate knowledge, not funds, to organisations/projects with a social objective.
Within this framework, Ordina and the Dutch Red Cross have entered into a long-term collaboration to support Red Cross organisations in East Africa.
Sandrine Danz is HR adviser at Ordina and undertook an 11 day CSR-mission to Ethiopia to support the local Red Cross chapter in developing and professionalising their organisation and IT.
Sandrine: “A journey like this changes you a bit as a person: along with your Ordina colleagues, you have realised a project in a completely foreign culture. From the intensive co-operation I was able to learn a huge amount about the people there and also about my colleagues. To me, it was an enriching experience that I would not have missed for anything.

Seeing the doctor at Ordina
Your development and your health is important to Ordina. Our vitality programme makes it easy to keep an eye on your health and to act upon injuries immediately. We have our own doctor and physiotherapist on the premises. And to keep in shape, you are welcome to join us in front of the Wii: we love to play golf and tennis at the office. Fun and active!
