Ordina wins Equens SE contract for maintenance, development and management of Oracle eBS, BI Applications and Hyperion

Ordina has been awarded a five-year contract from payment processor Equens for the continued improvement, maintenance and management of Oracle eBS, BI Applications and Hyperion Financial Management. Equens has specifically chosen Ordina as its new outsourcing partner for these secondary systems. The move will allow Equens to focus entirely on its own core business, processing pan-European payment traffic. This contract boosts Ordina’s position in the financial services market. The multi-year contract also contributes to Ordina’s strategy of realising growth in managed services.

“After an intensive selection process, we opted for Ordina because of its professional, open and constructive cooperation during the tender. Ordina has convinced us it has the necessary expertise and mind-set.  In the coming years, Ordina will take over the management and roll-out of our finance systems in Europe,” says Floris van Kolfschoten, General Manager Finance & Procurement at Equens SE.

“International payment traffic has changed considerably, partly as a result of the introduction of SEPA,” says Barend de Zoete, Director of Professional Services & Projects at Ordina. “It is essential to organisations in the financial sector that they can respond quickly to these types of changes in the market. Efficient processes and rapid insight into company information are essential, and ICT can play a supporting role in making this happen.  The fact that Equens has opted for uniform processes, supported by Oracle eBS, BI Applications and Hyperion makes it very clear that Equens recognises the importance of this. We are proud that Equens recognises Ordina’s know-how in the field of Oracle in the financial sector.”
