Supervisory board

Ordina's Supervisory Board consists of Johan van Hall, Caroline Princen, Thessa Menssen, Dennis de Breij, and Bjorn van Reet.

Chair of Ordina's Supervisory Board

Johan van Hall

Johan van Hall (1960) has been Chair of Ordina's Supervisory Board since 1 January 2019. In the 2022 General Meeting, Mr. Van Hall was reappointed for two years. His term ends in 2024. Mr. Van Hall has been a member of Rabobank's Supervisory Board since 8 December 2021 and is currently serving as its Vice Chair. He is Senior Advisor at the Boston Consulting Group. His previous roles include Vice Chair and member of ABN AMRO Bank's Management Board, and Chief Innovation & Technology Officer at the same organization.

Caroline Princen

Caroline Princen (1966) joined Ordina's Supervisory Board in April 2018. She acted as Chair of the Board from April till December 2018. In the 2022 General Meeting, Ms. Princen was reappointed for four years. Her term ends in 2026. Ms. Princen is CEO of Nuts Groep and Budget Thuis. She is Chair of the Supervisory Board at the University Medical Center Utrecht, and Chair of the Supervisory Board at Perspectief Psychologists. She was previously a member of ABN AMRO's Management Board, as well as Royal Flora Holland's Supervisory Board.

Thessa Menssen

Thessa Menssen (1967) was appointed member of Ordina's Supervisory Board on 30 June 2020. Her first term ends in 2024. Ms. Menssen is a member of the Supervisory Board at Alliander, the Supervisory Board at Topvrouw van het Jaar Foundation, the National Maritime Museum, and the Kröller-Müller Museum. Her previous roles include CFO and member of the Management Board at Royal BAM Group, and CFO/COO at the Port of Rotterdam Authority.

Dennis de Breij

Dennis de Breij (1971) joined Ordina's Supervisory Board as a member on 8 April 2021. His current term ends in 2025. Mr. De Breij is Non-Executive Board Member at Quin, Aqua Aero HVAC&R Coatings, Phycom, and GoSpooky. He was previously a founding partner at law firm deBreij (prior: De Breij Evers Boon), and practicing lawyer at law firms De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and CMS Derks.

Bjorn Van Reet

Bjorn Van Reet (1977) was appointed member of the Ordina Supervisory Board on 8 April 2021 for a term due to end in 2025. Mr. Van Reet is CIO of Kinepolis Group. His previous positions include board member at Beltug, CIO and board member at Adecco Group Belgium, and Managing Director at Modis. He was awarded Computable 'CDO of the Year 2021'.

Committees

The Supervisory Board has established two committees: an Audit Committee, and a Remuneration, Nomination and HR Committee. They consist of members of the Supervisory Board. Each has its own procedural rules. The members of the Audit Committee are Thessa Menssen (Chair) and Dennis de Breij. The members of the Remuneration, Nomination and HR Committee are Caroline Princen (Chair), Bjorn Van Reet, and Johan van Hall.
